Your mugo object is designed to age naturally.

Care isn't about preventing that process. It's simply about helping the materials age well.

silver.

Sterling silver naturally reacts with oxygen and sulphur in the air.

Over time it develops a darker patina, particularly in recessed areas where there is little contact or friction. Raised surfaces, on the other hand, are gently polished through everyday wear.

This gradual contrast gives the surface greater depth and character.

If you enjoy this natural evolution, no special treatment is required.

If you prefer a brighter finish, the patina can easily be removed using a silver polishing cloth or a suitable silver cleaner.

We recommend

• Wear your object regularly—natural contact helps maintain the surface.
• Store it in a dry place when not in use.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to chlorine, swimming pools and harsh chemicals.
• Clean occasionally with a silver polishing cloth if desired.

To keep leather healthy for many years:

• Avoid prolonged exposure to water.
• If it becomes wet, allow it to dry naturally away from direct heat.
• Occasionally nourish the leather with a dedicated leather conditioner or a small amount of rich hand cream.
• Apply only a thin layer and allow it to absorb before use.

Leather responds best to occasional care rather than frequent treatment.

Gold changes much more slowly than silver.

It doesn't develop the same patina but will gradually acquire fine marks from everyday wear.

These subtle traces are a natural part of a lived object and can usually be polished if desired.
